  • Sharon M. Gorick, PE

  • President/Electrical Engineer

Sharon has over twenty years local experience in the evaluation, analysis and design of power and lighting systems for commercial, public and institutional projects. Sharon has designed complete electrical systems; medium to low voltage, utility interconnections, building distribution, interior lighting, site and roadway lighting, critical power, power generation and fire alarm systems.

As the Lead Electrical Engineer, Sharon is responsible for the conceptualization and technical design of projects. These responsibilities include system evaluations, meeting with clients, load calculations, equipment selection and sizing, code review, system coordination with other trades, performing building system surveys, system distribution, sizing and layout, development and completion of project plans and specifications, and assisting the Construction Administrator with shop drawing review/construction issues.

Education: BEE, Electrical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology

Professional Licenses: Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia and California

  • Timothy J. Fialcowitz, PE, LEED AP

  • Vice President/Mechanical Engineer

Tim’s expertise includes analysis of existing mechanical systems and integration of new designs into existing buildings. His technical experience encompasses field survey, HVAC system design, plumbing system design, energy modeling, facility condition assessments, and technical specification preparation. His designs serve a diverse range of facilities, including airports, health care facilities, data centers, offices, and commercial kitchens.

Tim is responsible for the technical development and implementation of the firm’s design and production standards. As lead mechanical engineer and project manager, Tim’s duties include the preparation of proposals, management of multi-discipline design teams, and all facets of mechanical design.

Education: BS, Mechanical Engineering, The Johns Hopkins University

Professional Licenses: Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

With ten years of experience as an Air Force officer and an MBA degree, Doug combines a traditional engineering background with ample project management experience.

Prior to joining Ashe in 2014, Gazelle had over 15 years of engineering experience in all facets of building electrical design including commercial, healthcare, and residential facilities.
